Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated our work this week in New York, and for those who couldn’t make it, thank you for your support! Together we raised more than $20,000, enough to bring clean water to hundreds of more people in rural Uganda.
Tuesday night we shared the story of the village of Kinuuma, discussed our ongoing programs, and saw firsthand how difficult a walk with just 40 liters of water can be! We also tested our knowledge of water and health in rural Uganda, and you can find the questions and answers here.
If you are interested in learning more about our work underway, you can download our 2017 plan as well as a summary of our sustainability initiative, which tests three promising approaches to equipping villages to independently maintain their wells for future generations.
Motivated to do more? You can share our work and stories with your friends and colleagues on Facebook or through a simple email forward. You can also reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any ideas you have for spreading the word.
We are only as strong as our community of supporters, so again thank you for your support and partnership.
Best wishes this holiday season,
